Assuming you have read Read Me First and What Do I need, lets put the necessary files on your sd card. For this, you will need the zip from sdsetup.com and the zip for sysbot-base.
- Put your sd card into your computer.
- Open the zip file SDSetup(xx.xx.xx). There will be 2 folders. Take the folder Payloads and drag it out to the folder on the desktop called ‘inject’. This will be used later and anytime you need to boot into the custom firmware.
Open the folder ‘sd’. In another window, open your sd card. Drag all the folders and files INSIDE ‘sd’ to your sd card.

In the zip file, in the folder ‘sd’, select all the files and folders, right click and ‘Copy’. Then, open your sd card, right click inside the sd card window and paste. - Open the zip file sysbot-base.zip. Open folder atmosphere. Open folder contents. Right click the folder ‘ 430000000000000B’ and click copy.
Open your sd card. Open folder atmosphere. Open folder contents. Right click the empty space in that folder and paste. - Turn off your switch and replace the right joycon with the jig. Put the sd card from your computer into the switch. With the usb cable, connect your switch to the computer.
- If you installed Tegra, it should be in your start menu. Open it. When it starts, at the top of its window, click Settings – Install Drivers. Follow the prompts selecting the defaults. Click the folder button and navigate to the the folder ‘inject’ on your desktop. Open ‘inject’, and then ‘payload’ and select the hekate file.
- On the switch, hold down the + Volume and hit the power button once. The screen should stay blank but the red square in tegra should turn green. Once it’s green, click Inject Payload.
- If you get to this screen, you have successfully modded your switch. Go to the next page to bak up your NAND. This is important.
